AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS
This month I read a book called ‘Around the world in 80 days’. This is a science fiction book. The author is Jules Gabriel Verne, one of the famous author around the world. He created many famous books, such as ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea’. The main idea is Phileas Fogg got a bet from his friends. The bet is about ‘whether Fogg is around the world in 80 days or not’. Finally, he won the bet.
Phileas Fogg is the main character. He is intelligent, educated, sociable and optimistic.He would calm and intelligent when he got issues.
Passepartout is the minor character. He helps Phileas Fogg to get though the hard time. He is a good and loyal servant.
The final part. It is excited because he is arrested by polices what makes he almost miss his train. It is interesting and funny. It mentions a lot of information about science. Therefore, I love this part.
I realized confidence is important for everything. In our daily life, confidence is a big power to affect you to challenge something difficult. He won the bet, because he had much confidence to believe in himself. From this story, I know whatever we do we must have enough confidence and determination. Nothing in the world is difficult for one who sets his mind on it.
